Caps Off For Charity (COFC) was founded in June of 2007, and has raised almost $2,500 dollars for the charities Ein Herz Fuer Kinder and Toys for Tots to date. All donations made to COFC go directly to EHFK, and during the month of December, to Toys for Tots.
Ein Herz fuer Kinder (A Heart For Children) is a German organization that was founded in 1978 to help kids in need all around the world. Their work began to simply keep kids safe on the streets, but over time the charity has grown to a much larger scale. EHFK works to aid disaster victims, families in need, ill and abused children, and so much more.
In 2007, with the help of Tokio Hotel, they raised over 9 million euros for their program.

COFC was started by Arianne as a fun side project of the Tokio Hotel humor site Tokio Hotel Does America. The mission of COFC is to raise money for EHFK and to persuade Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz to take his cap off for the cause.
The COFC staff and supporters hope that the donations for EHFK will encourage Tom to take off his cap for the charity, and that the act of taking his cap off will encourage fans to donate to the charity in return.
The COFC staff will continue to raise money for EHFK regardless of the location of Tom's cap. However, the longer the cap remains on his dreadlocked head, the more the COFC staff is motivated to collect donations for EHFK.
They think maybe Tom's just playing hard to get.
Their current goal is $5,000 and they've given Tom six COFC letters to date.
