What: The Tokio Hotel is an interactive, online murder mystery game serving as a fundraiser for COFC. It features characters from the Tokio Hotel universe, and is presented in first person POV. It features flash games, music, videos, and more!
Who: The major players in creating this game are Arianne, Darcy, and Hayley from Caps Off For Charity. You may have seen them around many other parts of the fandom, such as THDA, THF, Livejournal, and the Official US Forum.
Caps off For Charity is a Tokio Hotel fan run organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for the charity Ein Herz für Kinder.
When: The game debuted on October 10th, 2009. It will be updated with a second level on October 29th, 2009. There will be five levels in total of this game, and the levels after the second do not have an official update schedule.
Where: The game is online, spread out all through the Tokio Hotel fandom!
Why: In October 2008, COFC put on a Tokio Hotel themed haunted house in Stevens Point, WI called Scream! For Charity. Wanting to put on another TH themed haunted house, but unable to secure a location, the staff decided that an online haunted house would be an excellent way to reach more of the Tokio Hotel fan community, and raise money for EHFK.

You may have noticed a strange lack of cap on Tom's head as of late. This has prompted us to rethink our goals and mission for COFC. What started out as a fun, humorous side project at THDA to get Tom to take his cap off has become so much more over the past two years.
We've raised $5,000, all of us together, and that means so much more than Tom taking his cap off ever could. Not that we don't love you, Tom. So, our mission statement has changed. It's grown. Let's make that insane amount of money even bigger and let's do it in the positive, inspirational spirit of Tokio Hotel.
Let's do it for us, and most importantly, to those who benefit from our efforts.

I would just like to announce that we have set a new goal for COFC. We are going to be a little bold and set it at $10,000. I know it's a lot of money, and we have a long way to go, but think of it this way... we are currently at $5,000, so we're already half way there!
Also, we have a very big project coming up this Friday, October 9th, so watch this space. It should be really entertaining.

Hello everyone and welcome to the brand spanking new COFC website!
As you may know, COFC was hacked in late August, and we lost a ton of content from the website, including our photo gallery and news archive. It's taken us a long time to reorganize everything and fill in the holes where content was missing.
At first, the site being hacked really brought everyone on staff down. We all had a hand in designing and organizing the site, from working with the coding to taking pictures, writing content, or creating graphics, so it really hit us hard. However! We decided to take this as a challenge to create a totally new website for COFC.
We think the new website is just as good as the old, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We have some very exciting events coming up in October that we are sure you all will be excited about, too. So watch this space!

NOTE TO OUR AFFILIATES: We lost our entire front page and all of our affiliate links when the website was hacked, so right now we may not have all of our affiliates posted. Please contact us if we are affiliated with you, but we do not have your link posted on our site. If you'd like to affiliate with us, please contact us at thcapsoffforcharity at gmail.com.

This summer Caps Off For Charity reached its goal of raising an astounding $5,000!

I just want to thank everyone, on behalf of the entire COFC staff, for their support and donations over the past two years. COFC started as a little pet project over at THDA in early July of 2007, and we really are blown away at how much its grown and how far we've come since then. The first goal I set for the charity, back when it was just me and a pile of Hanes men's dress shirts serving as donation gifts, was $500, and now to have us at $5,000 is just unbelievable.
Our supporters are amazing, our staff is amazing, and Tokio Hotel is amazing for inspiring all of us toward this worthy cause!
We will be raising our goal to a yet undetermined amount of October, so look for more information soon!

I'm quite pleased to announce that Ein Herz für Kinder posted a very nice little article about Caps Off For Charity in the "Contributor Action" section of their webpage!

The article translates into English as the following:
"Tokio Hotel Fans from America Donate to Kids"
The Tokio Hotel fans in America have a gigantic heart for kids in need. Three times already, the "Caps Off For Charity Organization" have donated to "Ein Herz Für Kinder".
The Tokio Hotel fan organization collects donations worldwide from fans of the previously-mentioned band for charitable causes and support with many engagements, particularly the BILD Charity Organization.
Arianne Nellessen of "Caps Off For Charity": "We are very happy to be able to support your important work. Thanks a lot for everything that your charity organization aids."
"Ein Herz Für Kinder" is especially thankful to "Caps Off for Charity" and all Tokio Hotel fans who make our work for small children in need possible through their generous donations.
You can view the article on the website here.
